Two flashy males were flying about and it was easy to see why when the female cardinal joined the crowd of finches and juncos at the feeder outside Little Bluestem Cottage. Lovely bird, she was. There are always birds finding rest in the trees surrounding the cottage but this was my first first time seeing a female cardinal at the feeder so I took a moment. Enjoyed it. And knew she belonged here.
